“This was my very first job after I graduated from university—I started as a merchandising assistant and learned so much from my manager, who not only taught me everything I needed to know about the garment industry but was also a teacher and friend, almost like a sister! Charming isn’t only the company where I work, it’s like a big family to me. I’m so proud to be a member of Charming. ”

“I will start to retire on September 01, 2022, and would like to let all my colleagues know how much I've enjoyed my time working for Charming. Mr. Tang junior’s motto is: Don’t panic during uncertainty; stay calm and we can resolve any crisis. I am grateful to have played a role in so many of the company’s projects.”

I first joined Charming as Chief Accountant but now also manage the HR department. I've been with the company for 31 years. In that time, I've set up our workshops and learned about innovative sewing technology and equipment. When the production line moved to China, I was promoted to managing the warehouse, including arranging our inventory and learning about computer applications so that I can continue to grow in my job. I can't believe it's been three decades—time really flies!”

“When I joined the company, I received so much support and advice from my co-workers as I learned about management, HR and operations. When we decided to expand the Santa Clara factory in Vietnam, I was ready to take up the challenge! On a side note, I was once on holiday in Japan when my friend picked up a famous brand jacket and started admiring it. I was so proud to tell her that it was made by my company!”

“I was young when I joined Charming, started from scratch and gradually amassed experience and knowledge on how different departments operate. Later, I oversaw quality management in our company’s productions, and then transitioned to logistics, administrative services, and external coordination. In each position, I maintained a modest, pragmatic, self-disciplined and positive working attitude and perform my duties diligently. As the legal representative of the company, I faced many external challenges and obstacles in addition to my internal responsibilities. I am proud to grow with the company and to become a fair, legal and socially responsible young manager.”

“I joined Charming in 2012 and have been with the company for more than 12 years. Currently, I am responsible for operations & quality control in our factory in China. Over the years, I took on challenges with help from my experienced team members, who have a solid understanding of products, craftsmanship and quality control. We overcame numerous obstacles to always go one step further. A solid and trustworthy team is what has persuaded me to stay on with Charming for over a decade.”
